See, I'm a firm believer that documenting your growing family is an absolute must. With two toddlers myself, I know how much I appreciate photos of our family together because they are few and far between.
Motherhood is beautiful and it changes your world from the moment you feel those first kicks and hold your sweet baby in your arms. Little did I know that not only would motherhood change my world, but it would also lead me to quit my fast-paced corporate job to trade excel sheets for my camera. (I suppose that Master's Degree in Political Management was just for fun... oops!)
Today my life looks much different than I ever imagined but it's also so much more fulfilling.
I have the immense responsibility of documenting love-filled homes like yours, I'm sporting leggings instead of pencil skirts, and wrangling two little boys who have my entire heart yet also justify a nice glass of red wine every now and then because... witching hour.

Just the other day I was sitting on the couch with my boys sifting through our family albums and it turned into one of the most meaningful moments.
They loved guessing whose newborn photos were whose (I swear they were newborn clones!), hearing about the moment when my oldest met his little brother in the hospital, seeing images from our recent family vacation and all of the little milestones from these short 5 years.
When I look through our albums, my favorites aren't always when they are smiling at the camera- but its when they are exploring, laughing, and the unprompted hug that sometimes looks more like a brotherly choke-hold.
That's why I'm drawn to lifestyle photography for my clients too. Those in-between moments are gold.
