This sweet couple were such troopers for this Folly Beach maternity session. Our first attempt was on the coldest day of the year and man was that wind brutal! It just goes to show how crazy Charleston weather is, because after calling the first session we were graced with the most beautiful weather a couple weeks later.

The beach here might look familiar– it never disappoints! We wandered around this section of Folly Beach looking for pockets of light and this gorgeous mama even had a wardrobe change but still completely rocked it!

The other thing that made this maternity session a dream to photograph was the love and connection between these two parents-to-be. Their excitement for their baby boy was just so beautiful and easy to photograph. As a Folly Beach maternity photographer, that’s all I can ask for!

One of the things I include in all of my sessions in wardrobe styling. I want to take that stressor off of mamas so they can just focus on their family during the session. These two trusted me to style them to help achieve those bright and airy, classic images you see in my portfolio. The pink dress was mama’s but the lace dress is from the Client Wardrobe, an option for all of my clients who book full sessions. Both looked so beautiful on her!
