Oh Fresh 48 hospital sessions, you have my heart. I’ve done Fresh 48 sessions at many hospitals in the Charleston area, but this session at East Cooper Medical Center was so fun.

It was so sweet seeing these two older siblings doting on their brother. Plus, baby boy was so content! Despite being passed between parents, grandma, and older siblings- he just kept sleeping. Bless him!

One of the things I like to remind my clients of is that sometimes siblings aren’t crazy about the new baby. I caution mamas not to be surprised because that is totally normal. For example, big brother wasn’t interested at first during this session but you wouldn’t know it now! But I promise you we will be able to document some sweet moments!

Also, I have to point out that little spike of hair that just kept sticking up! Both of my boys had a head full of hair so I am a sucker for those little details.

Even though this was probably one of the darkest rooms in the L&D ward, we made it work next to those big hospital windows. I cannot thank this sweet family enough for trusting me to document baby boy’s first day.
