Goodness, I am so excited to share this beautiful in-home newborn session with the sweetest big brothers I’ve ever seen! As a Mount Pleasant newborn photographer I photograph a lot of newborn sessions with older siblings, but this one was extra sweet. Get ready for some baby fever!

When I got to this family’s beautiful home, their boys were SO excited and ready to take some photos with their baby sister. You could tell they were enamored with her! Baby sis was a dream baby and fell right asleep when I swaddled her. After some solo photos of baby, I asked the boys to join her.

In a quiet moment during a snack break for little brother, I looked over and saw big brother laying next to his sister. What followed was a whole lot of photos of him sweetly cuddling with her without any prompting! I think its clear she’ll be in very good hands with him as a big brother and protector!

One of the reasons I love in-home newborn sessions is getting to see the nursery that parents prepare. This sweet girl’s nursery was so serene. As a boy mama of two, I loved documenting this girly space. I joke that I live vicariously through the girl moms as a photographer! ha!

Newborn Session on Film | Mount Pleasant Newborn Photographer

With all of the beautiful light I was able to shoot both digital and film images during this session. Film adds such a timeless feel to images and true to life colors that are unmatched with digital images. The images of Mama with baby on film (scroll to the very bottom!) are my favorite.
