I loved this Fall family mini session in downtown Charleston. Mini sessions will always have a special place in my heart, and it was such a joy seeing one of my favorite families again for the occasion. Mini sessions are short, sweet, and a great way to document your family each Fall.

Each year I offer a handful of these sessions on a first come, first served basis. It’s one of my favorite ways to catch up with the families I’ve been working with for years, and I love seeing how everyone has grown. Fall Family Mini Session

I’ve been photographing this precious family for several years, and it’s been a joy seeing their little girl grow. She has the most adorable personality and is always so happy and silly. I love that you can see it shine through in these photos.

Mom and Dad are also the best! Dad started and owns Charleston Taekwando, which now has several locations around the Charleston area. I’m not sure I realized when starting my business all those years ago how fun it would be connecting with other small business owners in the area!

A Different Approach to Fall Wardrobe

One of my favorite parts of this session was their approach with wardrobe. Mom opted not to go for the typical “Fall” colors, and I love how their palette was neutral enough that they will be able to print these photos and display them in their home any time of year. The little details make all the difference, and I love how they turned out!
