Goodness, this session was a dream! As a natural light Charleston maternity photographer, I love that the homes here have such beautiful light and high ceilings. This sweet family’s home was no different. Add in some adorable boys and SO MUCH love for baby sister- my heart can’t handle it!

When I first spoke to this beautiful mama and owner of Little Adi + Co, Adrianne, I knew this was going to be such a joy-filled session. As a fellow boy mom I know how crazy but also incredibly sweet toddler boys can be. You could just see their excitement and love for baby number four the moment I got the whole family together in front of my lens.

You’ll see some film images mixed in below as this was one of my first sessions where I used 35mm film indoors. There is just something so ethereal about film to me, I love the grain and the true to life colors. The final film image is out of focus but I think there is just something so dreamy about it. I’m so excited to offer this to my clients as a hybrid (digital and film) photographer!

Three of these images recently made it to the third round of voting in The Motherhood Anthology‘s image competition. To be included with so many of my talented colleagues in my second year of business is such an incredible honor. Thank you to everyone who voted!

Maternity Session Styling

Adrianne and her littlest wore options from my Client Wardrobe for this session. I purchased this maxi dress to add something with a more comfortable, casual style to the wardrobe. I absolutely loved it paired with mama’s cardigan to make it feel even more cozy. Mama then mixed in some neutral Rylee + Cru pieces her boys already had in their closet.
