Mount Pleasant Lifestyle Newborn Session | Charleston Newborn Photographer

When this sweet mama’s inquiry came in about a lifestyle newborn session I admit I did a double take because its not everyday I see a Pittsburgh area code in Charleston! Many of you may not know this but I grew up just outside of Pittsburgh and have been in Charleston for about six years now. That little connection was so fun when chatting with Kristen and hearing about how they made their way to the Charleston area!

Kristen, whose amazing hand lettering you see in baby girl’s nursery, has her own lifestyle blog and Etsy shop. They had just moved to the area when baby girl was born and somehow managed to put together this beautiful nursery in time for the session!

The sunlight was amazing in the nursery and I loved all of the little details. The ode to Dad’s love of Star Wars above the crib, the pineapple hamper, and lettering done by mama was just total perfection. I also managed to snap some images of their camera-shy pup, he was pretty elusive so this was quite the feat if you ask me! I couldn’t ask for a nicer family to do a lifestyle newborn session for, baby girl barely made a peep the whole session!
