With booking for Fall family mini sessions coming up, I thought it would be fun to share a little sneak peak of some of the wonderful families I photographed last year at Hampton Park!

Take a stroll on a weekend through Hampton Park and I guarantee you’ll see at least one photographer. In the Fall, there will be SO many. There are so many reasons why it’s such a beautiful spot for photo sessions in general, but especially for minis.

With the nature of mini sessions, I am always on the hunt for locations that provide shade for most of the day. This allows me to tuck families into pretty little areas of Charleston even when the sun is at its brightest during the middle of the day. Hampton Park has so many little pockets that we can always find a spot no matter how bright the sun is shining. It also changes as the day goes on so you can see a difference between morning and evening there. All beautiful- just different!

Hampton Park is also one location that looks fairly the same year-round, has ample parking, and plenty of space for kids to be playful during our session. I mean… that row of spanish moss is just magical no matter what time of year it is!

It’s definitely one of the top 3 most requested locations for my full session clients, too.
