This darling newborn baby girl was such a dream during her in-home session. She’s the first little one for these two, and I couldn’t be more thrilled for them.

When her sweet family contacted me, we hopped on a quick phone call to go over all of the details of their session. I loved chatting with Mama before the session. Not only were we able to get to know each other, but we also were able to cover all of their questions in one short conversation rather than multiple emails over several days. It really made the planning process so much easier. It’s a win for everyone!

Choosing an In-Home Session

Mama decided on doing an in-home newborn session when baby girl arrived. From there, everything came together so effortlessly. Their beautiful home made for such a pretty backdrop for their photos. It was filled with natural light, and I loved the sweet elements of her nursery!

For her wardrobe, Mama chose some of her favorite dresses from the Client Wardrobe gallery, and I brought all of her favorites with me to the session. I always send you a link to see them all after booking!

Mama picked a sweet little onesie for baby, a small newborn-sized bow, and a swaddle – all items I brought to the session to make it easier on these first-time parents.

While Mom finished getting ready, I started with some solo baby photos!
This gorgeous baby girl already had so much personality- I couldn’t get over all the precious facial expressions she gave me. She was very much an observer and was just so happy and content!

She was also very snuggly and preferred to be held for most of the session. We did sneak a few sleepy solo photos of her on the bed.

The First-Year Membership

At the end of the session, Mom and Dad asked to join the First Year Membership because they loved their session experience so much. I was thrilled to hear they had such a good experience, and I can’t think of a better compliment than being asked to continue photographing their family as this sweet girl grows.
