I have a little secret…I love in-home lifestyle sessions with multiple kiddos! It most often guarantees that no session will ever be the same, but there’s also this level of excitement (and sometimes a little chaos) that it brings. This Daniel Island Newborn Session was no different.

The way that big brother + big sister adored their baby brother was absolutely precious. I encouraged Dad to let big brother be silly when they were cuddled on the couch. Turns out, those ended up being some of my favorite photos!

Homes on Daniel Island are just so beautiful and tend to have the prettiest light for newborn sessions. I am also a big sucker for a window seat, so I was thrilled when it worked perfectly for some sibling photos!

I was able to capture a really simple, yet beautiful moment of the two of them looking out the window. That photo was actually voted one of the top ten “baby and child” photos in a motherhood photography image competition with The Motherhood Anthology. It was such an honor!

After snapping that photo we brought baby brother over for big brother and sister to hold (with Mama very close by!). I couldn’t get over how cute they were, and I’m so glad I could document these special moments for this sweet family.
