Before you know it, Mama, your baby will be turning one and we’ll be at their one year milestone session. Suddenly you have transitioned from sleepless nights to endless amounts of energy – from your little one of course! I’ve done it twice now, and I am still not sure where the time goes. It feels like we were just planning this sweet boy’s in-home lifestyle newborn session and now he’s ONE!

To celebrate, we headed to Downtown Charleston to explore, and it was the perfect cozy, winter day! This little guy was in that adorable almost-walking stage so I wanted to make sure I incorporated that in his photos and luckily he was all for it. He also loved to snuggle up with Mama (keep scrolling to see the most precious little photo of him laying his head on her shoulder) and play airplane with Daddy. His sweet little smile is sure to melt your heart too!

I think I mentioned this before, but this sweet family was the reason I started to offer the First Year Membership. There’s just something special about being able to document these little one’s as they grow and hit big milestones. Each one seems more and more special. Being able to preserve those memories through photos is SO important. I still find myself looking back through my boys’ first year photos, and I don’t take for granted that it’s my job to help make sure you can do that too!
