This is one of those sessions that will stick with me forever – so much happiness and emotion. I loved being able to visit baby for her Fresh 48 session at East Cooper Medical Center after having photographed their maternity session. It’s so amazing getting to meet these little ones after getting to know their parents. Then seeing how much they grow just between the Fresh 48 session and newborn is amazing! 

When Dad recommended the maternity session for Mama, I knew he was going to melt when he met his baby girl. And that he did. I’ve never seen so much genuine emotion and pure love as I did during their Fresh 48 session.

Depending on how Mama is feeling, she typically hangs out in the bed while I do photos of just baby and baby with Dad. During this time I like to makes sure to get a photo of Dad putting on his baby girl’s bow. This is a moment most Southern Mama’s dream about and I love to photograph!

Much like her parents, baby girl was so sweet. She slept most of the session and loved snuggling up to Mom and Dad. I left this Fresh 48 session with the fullest heart, watery eyes and counting down the days to their newborn session!
