I just love the fresh start of a near year and planning all of the things (enneagram 6 coming in hot!), but this year feels even more exciting and hopeful than others. There are so many good things on the horizon to help me better serve families here in the Lowcountry! As the days slowly get longer, these unseasonably warm days have me thinking about some of my favorite sessions of all – my Spring Motherhood event in Charleston!

Spring Motherhood Minis in Charleston

I hold this event every year, and it’s quickly become a favorite for Mamas.

Charleston in the Spring is truly unmatched. Between the weather, the blooms, and a slower pace than in the Fall- it’s easily my personal favorite season here. The chill is usually only in the mornings, so it’s the perfect time to bring out all the beautiful, flowy dresses.

Downtown comes to life with countless sweet spots of pretty flowers throughout the Spring and into early Summer. The azaleas, wisteria, and Star Jasmine are always a favorite that I like to incorporate into my sessions when possible.

And unsurprisingly, a recent poll I did on Instagram proved so many Mamas feel the same way! So… azaleas and wisteria it is for this year’s Motherhood minis!

Why Motherhood Minis?

It’s really important to me to help moms get in the photos with their kids, not just be the “picture taker.” As a mom, I know I’m not the best at this throughout the year, so our scheduled photography sessions each year are even more of a treasure.

Offering these sessions is my favorite way to ensure that your children have photos with YOU in the frame for years to come. And while they won’t care what you look like in the photos (just that you are in them), I know the stress that comes with prepping for photos with kids. That’s why Motherhood minis always offer access to the client wardrobe. I can even help you add on professional hair and makeup if you want that extra level of pampering for this special day.

Mama, you deserve to be celebrated.

I know this stage of life can feel busy and chaotic, which is why I work so hard to make this event special for you.

The Details

Each Mama will receive timeless, classic images with their little ones (and Grandma, too!) photographed on my favorite medium- film. Unlike a digital camera, film perfectly documents the true to life colors and depth in your images. Plus, it makes those blooms even more dreamy!!

All motherhood galleries are delivered before Mother’s Day, with plenty of time to order albums and framed prints as gifts for grandparents! It’s a great opportunity to get some of those in-between milestone photos of your little one, too.
