A few weeks ago, I shared a little snippet of my Charleston Motherhood Mini Sessions. These sessions happen annually, and it’s one of my very favorite events of the year.

In my last post, I shared about the beauty of the outdoor sessions. The spring blooms here in the Lowcountry are hard to pass up, but I couldn’t let the opportunity pass without sharing some of my favorite images from our indoor sessions.

Indoor Motherhood Mini Sessions

This gorgeous and unique property in the heart of downtown Charleston couldn’t have been a more ideal spot. The big windows in this space allow so much natural light to pour into every corner for the most beautiful lifestyle portraits.

To date, these are some of my favorite photos I’ve taken, and not just because of the unique location or light. They’re my favorite because of the beautiful Mamas that allowed some of the sweetest and most intimate moments with their little ones to be documented forever in front of my camera.

The Beauty of an Indoor Session

So often, I’m invited into my client’s homes for their newborn sessions. It’s such a special time, and being in their own space for their newborn sessions always feels extra sweet. I loved the idea of bringing this idea to my motherhood mini sessions.

These indoor lifestyle sessions are ideal during the warm spring days here. It’s the perfect environment to relax and play with your kiddos. You won’t have to worry about them running off or the added distractions outdoor locations can sometimes bring.

Plus, the kids all had so much fun exploring this new space with Mom during these sessions. We let them all twirl, jump on the bed, and be silly. Their personalities really got a chance to shine, which was the most fun!
