These Downtown Charleston family photos were a long time coming so I’m SO glad we were finally able to make it happen for this beautiful family! This session was supposed to be baby girl’s one year session, but due to multiple weather reschedules we decided to wait to make it an 18 month milestone session instead.

It ended up working perfectly because we were able to document this sweet girl once she started walking!

At this age little ones are also coming into their own little personalities and are on the go! So naturally she was thrilled at the opportunity to go for a quick stroll with her parents. That made for extra sweet shots on cobblestone Charleston streets, once of which is the center image in her gorgeous one year album!

First Year Membership | 18 Month Milestone Session

It’s such a special thing when clients turn friends and I’m so happy that’s been the case with the sweet family. I have to thank my First Year Membership for that! The Membership gives me a chance to get to know families throughout the course of baby’s first year and ensure all of baby’s milestones are documented.

It’s no secret that my heart does a bit of a happy dance anytime a session takes me to downtown. Almost every corner brings a bit of charm, beautiful backdrops, and a variety of shooting options no matter the time of day. That dappled sunlight always gets me! And, let’s not forget the spring blooming jasmine that fills the air with it’s sweet perfume every spring! This session was truly a joy on a sunshine filled day!
