Choosing favorites from these newborn photos with the most precious baby boy was a nearly impossible task! Their entire session was so sweet, and I’m thrilled to share a handful with you.

I often spend months helping expecting Mamas plan their newborn session so seeing everything come together perfectly was such an honor. And thank goodness we did, because this sweet boy decided to come a bit early for Mom and Dad! They had just moved into their new home in Mount Pleasant days before he was born. Impressively, Dad had just finished putting up the gorgeous wallpaper in the nursery one day before our session!

When I arrived, baby was wide awake but quickly drifted off to sleep after being swaddled. He was such a little champ and slept for the entire session! Mom and Dad were so calm and steady for first-time parents, making the session feel so easy and laid back.

Though I know it must have felt a bit chaotic having baby unexpectedly come early, Mom and Dad seemed more than happy to have a few extra days to love him! They were both so delighted with him, and it was so fun to document this time in their parenting journey. Dad’s smile when looking at his baby boy was just the most precious thing.

We spent most of our time in the nursery for this newborn session, and I love the sweet details in his room. The light was so beautiful! Their adorable pup also made herself right at home, and we were so glad to include her in the images. Some of my favorite portraits are of her checking on her sweet new sleeping baby brother.

Mom was stunning and wore one of my favorite new dresses from the Client Wardrobe. I also set up hair and makeup for her in her home the morning of the session. She was thrilled to have the time to relax and take in the day without worrying about what to wear or fussing with her makeup for her baby boy’s newborn photos. Mamas, this is the perfect way to get the most out of your session day experience and pamper yourself!
