Whether you're coming to see a love-soaked family or lifestyle newborn session, glimpses of beautiful Charleston, or my favorite local restaurant and coffee shops - I am excited to share a little piece of my heart with you.
What a wild and truly surreal experience the past two months have been. As a mom, photographer and small business owner here in Charleston, I never thought we’d experience a pandemic like this.
I miss you all so much!
Many of you have had your lives uprooted whether its been from the closure of schools or furloughs at work. Or maybe you have had the fun challenge of working from home with littles by your side.
Some of you are still working on the front lines of this pandemic. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! Our family is so grateful to you. I imagine it has not been easy to go to work and be away from your family while it feels like the rest of the world has hit pause.
Not having access to the hospital for my Fresh 48 families or being able to cuddle those newborns- gosh I miss it so much.
I am so looking forward to seeing the new sitting or walking skills your babies have learned!
Being forced to close as a non-essential business was difficult and I felt ALL of the emotions. But as a Charleston family photographer that works with the tiniest clients, I’ve always been overly cautious so I knew this was the right thing to do.
Now that our state is beginning to allow businesses to reopen, I am eager to get back to documenting your sweet families! In an effort to protect both your family and mine as well as follow both local leaders’ and CDC guidelines, the following policies will be in place for both indoor and outdoor sessions until further notice:
First and foremost: I ask that all of my clients work with me to ensure the healthy and safety of everyone involved.
If you have been exposed to Covid-19, have any symptoms, or a fever for any reason, please let me know. I will absolutely be doing the same for you and will happily reschedule to ensure you are all well.
In home sessions are some of my favorites, so I am very excited to get back to those while ensuring these additional precautions are taking place.
For those with Fresh 48 sessions- we will be in touch while taking this one day at a time. I am hopeful hospitals will ease restrictions in the coming months, but we will have a back up plan just in case.
If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Again, I cannot thank you all enough for the continued support and love you have shown my small business during this difficult time. Sending you all virtual hugs! I cannot wait to see you and your sweet babes very soon!!

[…] As excited as we all were for their twin maternity session, we weren’t totally sure it was going to happen. Covid was really picking up in Charleston and there were some pretty heavy restrictions on Isle of Palms. With a couple of weeks to go, the restrictions were lifted slightly and I was able to resume socially distanced sessions (you can read more about our safety precautions here). […]
