Goodness, this Hampton Park family session might just be some of my favorites ever. If you can’t tell, Hampton Park is one of my favorite places for photoshoots lately, especially for families with little ones. While I love the beach, it’s hot and with sunset being so late, Hampton gives us a lot more flexibility. I love the greens, the spanish moss and variety we can get there too!

Before the session, I sent Mom some styling inspiration and I was so excited to see she selected the dress I recommended. Sage green photographs so beautifully, even in a park setting. We balanced their look out with a neutral pattern on Dad and a little texture with baby girl’s ruffled sleeves.

I have worked with this sweet family a few times and it’s always such a joy to photograph them. Also I totally admit that I live the girl mom life vicariously through them! haha. She’s just too cute!

This age is so sweet – they are old enough to have control of their little bodies but not yet running all over the place! I’ve found that kiddos at this age tend to want to snuggle their mama and daddy during sessions. It makes for the sweetest moments, and I always make a point to capture those little details for you!

I love all things motherhood, but these sweet moments captured in black and white are my favorite!
