I am the family and newborn photographer that says every session and every type of session is my favorite. BUT a fresh 48 hospital session definitely takes the lead. It’s one of the most vulnerable, sacred times for my clients. I know what an honor it is to be chosen to walk into that space, and that’s a gift I do not take for granted. Not to mention, who doesn’t love seeing brand new babies?!

I’ve been blessed to work with this sweet family since I started my photography business a couple years ago. I’ve seen older sis grow up so what an honor it was to document baby brother! He was so sweet and already charming the ladies with his hair and dimples! 

Sadly big sis was sick at the time and couldn’t be there for me to document her meeting brother for the first time. If possible, I try to schedule your fresh 48 hospital session around the siblings meeting. Typically I tell mamas to plan for siblings to come about 30 minutes after I get there, that way most of the photos are done and we’re ready for toddler + baby photos. 

If that’s not possible or like in this instance where big sis was sick, we can still capture those sweet moments later on! For these two, we were able to capture some sibling sweetness during our Christmas PJ sessions just a week later!
