I cannot get over how much fun I had with this sweet family during their Fall mini session at Hampton Park. I am so glad I chose to do them there this year and they were such a big hit! Hampton Park is a place that is beautiful year-round. I love how it photographs with all of the Fall outfits too!

With my light and airy style, I typically recommend light, soft neutrals but for Fall we switch it up a bit. It’s totally okay to gravitate toward deeper tones for Fall photos, just be sure to balance it out with others in off-white or a light neutral. Mama wore a beautiful Gal Meets Glam dress and I loved it so much I had to have it for the Client Wardrobe.

Before every photoshoot, I always send clients a questionnaire. It helps me get to know you before the session and your goals for the session. When I asked this Mama she mentioned two things: how baby brother smiles at big brother and then photos with her husband. I was so glad to read how important that was to her. As parents we often focus on just the kids or the entire family. I am guilty of that too. But parents, make sure you take the time for you as a couple too!

Smiles. We got all the smiles, not just from little brother, but from the whole family. Nothing warms my heart more as a family photographer than seeing the connections my clients have with their family. All a little different and all so special. And these four could not have been more sweet! I don’t know how I got so lucky, but I am pretty sure I have the best clients ever!
